Happy Thanksgiving

It was a wonderful mild day here in Rupert for Thanksgiving. Our turkey from neighbors Someday Farm in Dorset was delicious. The Profts are telling the truth when they say that their free range birds are the best in Vermont, and maybe even the country. Even my harshest critic (my 8 year old son) came back for seconds.

After a walk up through the woods, we all came home to relax and wind down for the weekend. For the kids, it's friends a plenty come visiting. For me, it's up to Weston tomorrow morning for the Christmas Bazaar. I was there yesterday setting up, and I must say, it is going to be a really great show. If you are anywhere in the area, do not miss it! The show runs from 9 to 4 and is right on the town green in the beautiful Weston Playhouse. You can't miss it - it's right on Route 100.

BUY LOCAL for Christmas

Holiday madness has begun - come BUY LOCAL and support independent artists and artisans at the 29th Annual Christmas Bazaar at the Weston Playhouse.

I will be there with a whole array of goodies for the holidays along with 60 other high quality Vermont exhibitors. There will be something for everyone. Stop buy and say hello if you are in the area - you won't be disappointed!

The playhouse is on Route 100 in Weston, Vermont. The show runs from 9-4 Friday and Saturday (Nov 27 & 28) and admission is FREE. I hope to see you there!

Dolls! Dolls! Dolls!

Bambola is Italian for doll - these are some of the one of a kind rag dolls that I have been making in the studio - each one made from unbleached muslin with recycled cashmere hair. Traditionally given as a token of love, the bambola is intended to last for a lifetime, and to be passed down from generation to generation. I am now accepting a limited number of custom orders for the holidays.

Linen Dresses are Now In the Shop!

Yeah! I have just added the first installment of my new linen series for girls ages 6 months to 6 years to the Etsy shop. I've been working on them for quite a while, so this is a monumental day of sorts for me. There will be more to come, but I just had to share some of what I've been doing holed up in the studio all fall!
